On November 8 and 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day in the Marcus Whitman Room, Westminster will hold a Reiki Healing Prayer Training led by Reiki Master and Reverend Elaine Andres and hosted by Westminster’s prayer team. Reiki is a healing system with Japanese origins, a method of gentle hand placements on the body which increases awareness of life energy and promotes a sense of connectedness. The cost for Westminster members is on a sliding scale between $25 and $75; it is $275 for non-members. To register, pick up a brochure available around the church or contact the church office for one. Complete the form in the brochure and return it to the Reverend Laurie Newman with your payment made out to Westminster no later than October 31.
