Campaign Coordinator

Westminster Presbyterian Church seeks a Campaign Coordinator to begin immediately. The Campaign Coordinator will support our Capital Campaign in a clerical role. The Coordinator will answer incoming calls about the campaign, ensure successful meetings, produce correspondence, maintain detailed records, and prepare proposals. The Coordinator will be expected to be an integral member of the Campaign team and be knowledgeable about the heritage of the organization.

This part-time position has a flexible schedule (certain meetings will be fixed), and work will not exceed 19 hours/week. The position begins immediately and is expected to last less than a year.

Essential elements of this position include the
 • ability to keep track of all elements of Capital Campaign
 • communicate new activity to key volunteers and staff
 • great people skills
 • excellence and attention to detail in:
   o Preparing documents, meeting agendas and minutes, and gift proposals (Word)
   o Updating the case presentation (Power Point)
   o Tracking gifts on the gift table (Excel)
   o Communicating pledge commitment and cash flow to the business office

A general understanding of major gift capital campaigning will be learned during this job experience.
