Reading the Gospel of John

The Gospel according to John is a profound proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ. In order to experience and appreciate the poetry, beauty, and spirituality of this Gospel, and to deepen our understanding of the good news it imparts, we will delve into it from literary and theological perspectives. We will explore some important topics of the gospel, such as the Word made flesh, life, seeking, and other themes that John develops. We will also look briefly at some of the men and women who appear in the Gospel, seeing them both as people in the lifetime of Jesus, and as representatives of how we live as disciples today.
