About WPC
The mission of Westminster Presbyterian Church is to be an inclusive, nurturing, serving Christian community in our neighborhood, our city, and our world. As individuals and together we are called to:
• Seek a deeper relationship with God through worship education, and fellowship
• Share the good news of Jesus Christ
• Meet human needs
• Correct injustice, promote human rights, and advance peace
• Join with others in this mission
Children and Youth Programs
The church children and youth programs include child care for infants through kindergarten during Sunday services, Sunday church school for 1st-5th grade age children, Junior high program for grades 6-8, senior high program for grades 9-12 and young adults program for ages 19-25.
Adult Education
The adult education committee sponsors topical speakers and traditional bible study classes from 9:15 - 10:15am every Sunday. Topics have included: the Palestine/Israel struggle, homosexuality and the Bible, and the history of the Gospels. Additional educational opportunities include: Mary-Martha Circle, Women's Book Study Group, Tooth Marks on the Lectionary, Women's and Men's retreat, noon and Sunday evening Bible studies.
