AS YOU CAN SEE, there are four Sunday evenings without a Parent Helpers --  If you are available, please let me know so we can take full advantage of our gorgeous spring weather!!  My work phone is  503-287-1289, ext. 16; home is 503-284-2205.

Warm weather - check.   Flowers galore - check.  Spring Lock In - check.  Daylight till 8:45 p.m. - check.  Total distraction from the tasks at hand - check.  In case you needed anyone to confirm this for you, it is SPRING FEVER season, and I look forward to sharing these last few weeks of the 2011-12 program year with YOU!!

Sunday, May 27, is Pentecost  –  it’s the birthday of the church, and we are working diligently on a project to “light the breeze way” for that morning - your help would be great! June 10 is our last day of Education Hour until September.  Friends welcome.

SUNDAY EVENINGS
Fellowship Group (grades 6-8) meets 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. in the Marcus Whitman Room (unless noted) for informal recreation & discussion.  Friends welcome.  Topics:

• May 27 - NO Group over Memorial Day weekend
• June 3 - “Gasping for Air”     
  
• June 10 - “Faster than a Speeding Bullet”

UPCOMING EVENTS

• Presbytery of the Cascades Summer Camps - there is still time to register!!                   Scholarships are available through Westminster; see www.campcascades.org.

• Middle School Summer Fellowship will be hosting special events from June 27through August 29, based on the activities that YOU would like to do.  We have a great list of ideas already - if you have an affordable option for about a dozen people, let me know so we can get our schedule finalized!

• Jr. High Mission Trip is August 1 - 2 to work with Tillamook County Habitat for Humanity.  Save these dates NOW - registration materials mailed in July !
