August 18th Food Drive

Our monthly, Bible-themed series of food drives continues on Sunday, August 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in our parking lot. This month we reflect on the idea of sharing the harvest: “When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest; you shall leave them for the poor and for the alien: I am the Lord your God.” (Leviticus 23:22) So, this month we’ll be collecting harvest foods—either fresh, dried, or canned, such as corn, squash, wheat, rice, greens, tomatoes, etc. Please, no expired items and no glass containers. If you’re unable to donate food, we’re also accepting financial donations. You can send a check to Westminster with “food drive” in the check memo line, or if you’d like to give online, just go to westprespdx.org, click on “online giving,” and write “food drive” in the memo line of our online giving page. Thank you!
