In June, for our summer service trip, Westminster youth will serve and learn from the people of the Yakama Nation through a program led by a Native American organization in south-central Washington. This Sunday, May 21, you’ll have two opportunities to help fund that trip. During worship, after sharing news about the trip in our Minute for Mission, we’ll collect the Pentecost offering. Forty percent of funds given to the Pentecost offering will go to support this trip. In addition, Westminster member Kristi McClain will be helping to raise money for the trip by working with youth to sell homemade soap at Sunday’s fellowship time in the Great Hall after worship.
