Racial Justice Working Group Summer 2023 Film Series
Thursday, July 20: “Dolores”
The Racial Justice Working Group invites you to its summer film series. Evenings will include the film, pizza, and discussion. On Thursday, July 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room, the film will be “Dolores.” This documentary profiles Dolores Huerta—activist, mother of eleven children, and survivor of a brutal San Francisco Police beating—who challenged 1950s gender conventions to cofound the country’s first farmworkers’ union. (Running time: 1 hour and 35 minutes)
