The Deep Dive Task Force was charged to engage the members, friends, and leadership of Westminster in planning for the next three to five years. The task force is making its report to Session on January 18, and there will be an educational opportunity after worship on January 23 for the congregation to learn about the task force’s survey and their report. The task force was asked to bring recommendations to Session in the areas of mission and ministry, staff needs, and financial goals and objectives to meet mission and ministry dreams. Their report, which touches all aspects of life at Westminster, will impact not only our operating budget—particularly in terms of personnel—but also the work of our committees and boards, as well as the engagement of every member of the Westminster community. A major focus of our congregational meetings on Sunday, January 30, and Sunday, February 13 (both at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom) will be discussion of the task force’s report. Voting by church members related to the findings will happen during meetings. All church members are encouraged to attend and vote!
