Family Promise Metro East (FPME) invites you to “A Home for Every Child,” a family shelter benefit event, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (3131 NE Glisan St., Portland). The gala evening will include a Greek souvlaki dinner, music by the P.S.U. Chamber Choir, a silent auction, featured speaker Kevin Nye (author of Grace Can Lead Us Home: A Christian Call to End Homelessness), and words from a Family Promise “graduate” who has moved into their own apartment. Tickets are $50 per person. FPME hopes to raise $30,000 to support its programming. To buy tickets, donate to the cause, or learn more, please visit https://www.pdxfp.org/events-and-fundraisers.html. Thank you!
(Westminster Presbyterian is considered a “support church” for FPME and organizes volunteers to work with FPME families multiple times per year. To learn more about the FPME/Westminster relationship, contact Linda Buckley or the church office.)
