Racial Justice Working Group Summer 2023 Film Series
Thursday, July 13: “Selma”
The Racial Justice Working Group invites you to its summer film series. Evenings will include the film, pizza, and discussion. On Thursday, July 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room, the film will be “Selma.” Directed by Ava DuVernay, this 2014 film tells the story of the 1965 marches for voting rights in Selma, Alabama. It stars David Oyelowo, Oprah Winfrey, and Cuba Gooding Jr. (Running time: 2 hours and 8 minutes)
