On Pentecost Sunday, June 8, at 10:30 a.m. in our sanctuary, we will have a special worship service of the Presbytery of the Cascades, installing the Reverend Junha Kim at Westminster as our Associate Pastor for Youth, Mission, and Community Engagement. Our guest preacher for worship that day will be the Reverend Samuel Chung, a mentor, teacher, and friend to Junha who, like Junha, “has a heart for the oppressed and marginalized” and a passion for pursuing justice. We hope you will plan to attend—to hear the Reverend Chung speak, to be present for Junha’s installation, and to enjoy a special fellowship time after worship in the Great Hall to honor Junha in his new role as an associate pastor.
