Mandala painting is a meditative art form involving symmetrical, geometric, dot-based patterns radiating from a center point to represent cosmic wholeness. Using acrylic paints, hex wrenches or dowels, and dotting tools, one can create intricate designs on almost any durable surface. Janell Niemann-Ross said, “I had a boring set of mugs that were sad to look at when I opened the cupboard door, so I livened them up with dots!”
Join Janell in person and dot artist Gretchen O’Bleness virtually on Saturday, April 25th, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room to learn this meditative and fun art form. There is no charge, but preregistration is required by emailing Sally Woolley (no phone calls please). Further information and a supplies list will then be sent to you. (Contact the church office if you need Sally’s e-mail address.)
