Happy Pride! This weekend (July 15-16) is the Portland Pride Waterfront Festival and Parade happening in downtown Portland. This year, Westminster will not be gathering as a group to march in or watch the city’s parade due to lack of availability or interest from our community, but we encourage you to check out the festival if you’re able. If you’d like to be on our Pride supporters e-mail list (to get word of any future Westminster participation in Pride), e-mail Alaina at secretary@westprespdx.org. The Westminster Pride Fellowship group, which normally meets monthly on the third Sunday for lunch, will not meet on July 16 in order to give its members the opportunity to attend the festival.
