*INVITATION TO WORSHIP The Rev. Gregg Neel
We gather this day, strangers and friends,

All loved by God.

To offer concern and joy,
To be reminded to love as we have been loved.
So let us worship God.

*INVITATION TO CONFESSION The Rev. Gregg Neel
In the beauty of this space and in this sacred moment, we speak with God about our lives, about how we have followed and how we have faltered. Trusting in God’s grace and mercy, let us make our confession, first in silent prayer.

*SILENT PRAYER

*UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Merciful and loving God:
when we are ungrateful, remind us of your grace.
When we are oblivious, open our eyes.
When we are harsh, gentle our spirit.
When we are apathetic, move us to care.
When we demean ourselves, whisper that we are created in your image.
When we lose all hope, show us the empty tomb.
So shape us, and turn us around,
that we will live with blessing and grace and hope. Amen.

*ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
Friends, hear this good news: in the mystery of God’s mercy and love, our sins are not
held against us but are forgiven. Take this into your hearts, and be at peace.
Alleluia! Amen.

*THE PASSING OF THE PEACE
The peace of Christ be with you all.
And also with you.

ANTHEM
“And Still the Earth Shall Own Him Lord” Music by C. Hubert Parry; arr. Fred Bock
Text by William Blake; adapted by Bryan Leech
And did those feet in ancient time walk upon Israel’s mountains green?
And did the Christ of heaven come down? Was God in flesh both heard and seen?
And did He die to prove His love? And did He rise more powerful still?
And was His rule on earth started there upon Golgotha’s tragic hill?
Bring me my bow of burning gold! Bring me my arrows of desire!
Bring me my spear! O clouds unfold! Bring me my Chariot of Fire!
I will not cease to spread His light: My faith a shield, His word my sword.
‘Til Christ, my God, is crowned as King, and all the earth shall own Him Lord.

PASTORAL PRAYER AND LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
