*INVITATION TO WORSHIP (From Psalm 36) Rev. Gregg Neel
How precious is your steadfast love, O God!
We take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
We feast on the abundance of your house,
and you give us drink from the river of your delights.
For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light.
Let us worship God.
*HYMN #12
“Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise” ST. DENIO
Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
Almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise.
Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
Nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might:
Thy justice, like mountains high soaring above;
Thy clouds, which are fountains of goodness and love.
To all, life thou givest, to both great and small.
In all life thou livest, the true life of all.
We blossom and flourish like leaves on the tree,
Then wither and perish; but naught changeth thee.
Thou reignest in glory; thou dwellest in light.
Thine angels adore thee, all veiling their sight.
All praise we would render; O help us to see
‘tis only the splendor of light hideth thee!
*INVITATION TO CONFESSION Junha Kim
As we worship, we claim the truth of the kin(g)dom of God: that we are each and all created equally, beloved, and that we individually and systemically sin against God and one another. And so we confess, to return to right relationship with God and with each other, the beloved community, first in silent prayer.
*SILENT PRAYER
*UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION (From Isaiah 62)
For the sake of kin(g)dom, I will not remain quiet.
We who call on the Lord will not allow God to be quiet.
Forgive us when we despair or disparage. Help us to be moved.
We will show up. We will expect great things from God.
*ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
You shall no more be termed Forsaken,
and your land shall no more be termed Desolate,
but you shall be called Delight.
Alleluia. Amen.
*THE PASSING OF THE PEACE
The peace of Christ be with you all.
And also with you.

“There’s a Wideness in God’s Mercy” IN BABILONE
There’s a wideness in God’s mercy, like the wideness of the sea.
There’s a kindness in God’s justice, which is more than liberty.
There is no place where earth’s sorrows are more felt than up in heaven.
There is no place where earth’s failings have such kindly judgement given.
For the love of God is broader than the measures of the mind.
And the heart of the Eternal is most wonderfully kind.
If our love were but more faithful, we would gladly trust God’s Word,
And our lives reflect thanksgiving for the goodness of our Lord.
SHARING JOYS & CONCERNS Junha Kim
(At the conclusion of spoken joys, let us pray together, “Thanks be to you, O God.”
For concerns, let us make them our own by praying, “Lord, hear our prayer.”)
PASTORAL PRAYER AND THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

“O Love That Wilt Not Let Me Go” ST. MARGARET
O Love that wilt not let me go,
I rest my weary soul in thee;
I give thee back the life I owe,
that in thine ocean depths its flow may richer, fuller be.
O Light that followest all my way,
I yield my flickering torch to thee;
My heart restores its borrowed ray,
that in thy sunshine’s blaze its day may brighter, fairer be.
O Joy that seekerst me through pain,
I cannot close my heart to thee;
I trace the rainbow through the rain,
and feel the promise is not vain that morn shall tearless be.
O Cross that liftest up my head,
I dare not ask to fly from thee;
I lay in dust life’s glory dead,
and from the ground there blossoms red life that shall endless be.
