Praise God from the heavens and the earth
Praise God from the skies above and the grass below!
Praise God, angels, and all the hosts of heaven!
Praise God, sun and moon, and shining stars!
Praise God, all creatures great and small,
Praise God, animals and birds, reptiles and fish!
Praise God and God’s people everywhere,
Let all of us bring praise to the Creator.
We gather to praise and worship our God!
*Hymn #15
“All Creatures of Our God and King”
Youth Ministry
1. All creatures of our God and King,
Lift up your voice and with us sing
Alleluia, alleluia!
Thou burning sun with golden beam,
Thou silver moon with softer gleam,
O praise him, O praise him,
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
2. Thou rushing winds that art so strong,
Ye clouds that sail in Heav’n along,
O praise him, alleluia!
Thou rising morn, in praise rejoice,
Ye lights of evening, find a voice.
O praise him, O praise him,
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
3. And all ye saints of tender heart,
Forgiving others, take your part,
O sing ye, alleluia!
Ye who long pain and sorrow bear,
Praise God and on him cast your care:
O praise him, O praise him,
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
4. Let all things their creator bless,
And worship him in humbleness,
O praise him, alleluia!
Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son,
And praise the Spirit, Three in One:
O praise him, O praise him,
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
*Invitation to Confession
Alice Larsen
Sometimes we forget that we are all God’s children. So, we think we’re more important than our family, our friends, our neighbors, and sometimes God. Help us remember how much you love us and all of your creation. Let’s remember together, first in silent prayer.
*Silent Prayer
*Unison Prayer of Confession
Lilla Reiss
God of Creation, sometimes we forget that you created us and the world. So, we hurt your creation. We tell ourselves we’re not good enough, we judge others, and we hurt your children, and your trees and oceans. We make it hard to see your love in the world. Help us see and love all your creation. Amen.
*Assurance of Forgiveness
Lilla Reiss
Everybody! Did you know? Even if we forget, God doesn’t! We have been made by love, to love!
In Jesus Christ, we are restored to love.
*The Passing of the Peace
Eleanor Hodge
The peace of Christ be with you all.
And also with you.
An Act of Proclamation
The Scripture Reading
Psalm 148:1-5, 13-14 (MSG)
Ada Roser, Graham Ereth
Praise God from heaven,
praise him from the mountaintops;
Praise her, all you his angels,
praise God, all you his warriors,
Praise him, sun and moon,
praise her, you morning stars;
Praise God, high heaven,
praise Them, heavenly rain clouds;
Praise, oh let them praise the name of God—
She spoke the word, and there they were!
Let them praise the name of God—
it’s the only Name worth praising.
Her radiance exceeds anything in earth and sky;
he’s built a monument—his very own people!
Praise from all who love God!
God’s children, intimate friends of God.
This is the Word of the Lord.
Thanks be to God.

Confident of God’s grace at work in our community, do we, the congregation, promise to nurture these new members by our words and deeds, encouraging them to know and follow Christ, and to be faithful disciples? If so, please respond, we do.
We do!

“Amazing Grace ”
Youth Ministry
1 Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind, but now I see.
2 ‘Twas Grace that taught my heart to fear,
And Grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.
3 Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come.
‘Tis Grace hath brought me safe thus far
And Grace will lead me home.
4 The Lord has promised good to me.
His Word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be
as long as life endures.
5 When we’ve been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
than when we’d first begun.
