*Invitation to Worship From Luke 21 Rev. Junha Kim
Jesus said, there may be scary sights or sounds,
But not a hair on your heads will be lost.
I’ll give you words and wisdom
That no one will be able to argue against.
Stand firm. Watch out that you aren’t deceived,
Still not a hair on your heads will be lost.
*Hymn #15 “All Creatures of Our God and King” erfreuen
All creatures of our God and King,
Lift up your voice and with us sing
Alleluia, alleluia!
O brother sun with golden beam,
O sister moon with silver gleam,
Sing praises! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
O brother wind with clouds and rain
You nurture gifts of fruit and grain.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
O sister water, flowing clear,
Make music for your Lord to hear,
Sing praises! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
O brother fire, so warm and bright
Chase off the shadows of the night.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Dear mother earth, who day by day
Unfolds such blessings on our way,
Sing praises! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
All who for love of God forgive,
All who in pain or sorrow grieve,
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Christ bears your burdens and fears;
So, even in the midst of tears,
Sing praises! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
*Invitation to Confession Rev. Junha Kim
Something like this has been said before: whenever we count our winnings, or our successes, we set ourselves up as competitors. But when we confess our sins, how we’ve participated in unjust systems that surround us, we count ourselves as friends. And so we enjoy a time of united confession, first in silence.
*Silent Prayer
*Unison Prayer of Confession From 2nd Thessalonians 3
Sometimes we meddle in the business of others when we should be working. Sometimes we overwork or idle when we should be resting. Sometimes we get discouraged in doing what is right. Forgive us, Holy One, Seeker of Justice and Shalom, and help us to forgive one another. Amen.
*Assurance Of Forgiveness
In Christ we are a new creation. The old has gone; new life is here. Know that you are forgiven and be at peace.
Hallelujah. Amen.
*The Passing of the Peace
The peace of Christ be with you all.
And also with you.

*Hymn #366 “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling” hyfrydol
Love divine, all loves excelling,
Joy of Heav’n to Earth come down,
Fix in us thy humble dwelling,
All thy faithful mercies crown;
Jesus, thou art all compassion,
Pure, unbounded love thou art;
Visit us with thy salvation,
Enter ev’ry trembling heart.
Breathe, O breathe thy loving Spirit
Into ev’ry troubled breast;
Let us all in thee inherit,
Let us find thy promised rest;
Take away our love of sinning;
Alpha and Omega be;
End of faith as its beginning,
Set our hearts at liberty.
Come, Almighty to deliver;
Let us all thy grace receive;
Suddenly return, and never,
Never more thy temples leave.
Thee we would be always blessing,
Serve thee as thy host above,
Pray, and praise thee without ceasing,
Glory in thy perfect love.
Finish, then, thy new creation;
Pure and spotless let us be;
Let us see thy great salvation
Perfectly restored in thee;
Changed from glory into glory
Till in Heav’n we take our place,
Till we cast our crowns before thee,
Lost in wonder, love, and praise!
Sharing Joys & Concerns Rev. Junha Kim
(At the conclusion of spoken joys, let us pray together, “Thanks be to you, O God.”
For concerns, let us make them our own by praying, “Lord, hear our prayer.”)
Pastoral Prayer and The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.”

*Doxology – Hymn #606
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
-OR-
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise God, all creatures here below;
Praise God above, ye heavenly host;
Creator, Christ, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
*Hymn #475 “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing” nettleton
Come, thou Fount of every blessing;
tune my heart to sing thy grace;
streams of mercy, never ceasing,
call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
sung by flaming tongues above;
praise the mount! I’m fixed upon it,
mount of God’s unchanging love!
Here I raise my Ebenezer;
hither by thy help I’m come;
and I hope, by thy good pleasure,
safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
wandering from the fold of God;
he, to rescue me from danger,
interposed his precious blood.
O to grace how great a debtor
daily I’m constrained to be!
Let that grace now, like a fetter,
bind my wandering heart to thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
prone to leave the God I love;
here’s my heart; O take and seal it;
seal it for thy courts above.
