CLOISTERS PRESENTS PAINT & SIP: OCTOBER 3RD
Over the years, Cloisters has been asked several times to do a Paint & Sip class. So here we go! Just in time for the holidays, learn to make some delicious mocktails (non-alcoholic versions of your favorite cocktails)—orange-cream mockmosa, smoked-sage mockarita, blackberry-thyme mockjito, mockhattan, winter-spiced lemonade, and rosemary mock mule, complete with garnishes. These mocktails will be creative, something more than just fruit juice.
And while sampling these delicious mocktail beverages, learn to paint them. There are tricks to painting glass vessels (stemware, vases, glasses), and Jackie Farah will show you how to create watercolor paintings that can then be copied and used as invitations to your holiday gathering. All supplies will be provided.
Join us in the Great Hall on Saturday, October 3, from 1 to 4 p.m. As with all Cloisters opportunities, there is no charge.
